The following steps must be taken in creating an AS400 user journal:

Create Journal Receiver

From command line, type CRTJRNRCV (Create Journal Receiver) then press F4.

Type the Journal Receiver and Library name, pressEnter. Message Journal receiver MYRCV created in library SOOLGPL will come out at the botom the green screen.

Create Journal

From command line, type CRTJRN (Create Journal) then press F4.

Type the Journal dan Library name, type Journal Receiver dan Library that created before, press Enter. Message Journal MYJRN created in library SOOLGPL will come out at the botom the green screen.

Congratulations, you already create User Journal and Journal Receiver on AS400.
